Rescue Youth Alliance (REYA) is a Liberian nonprofit founded by journalist and youth activist Amb. Sylvester Choloplay on October 1, 2020. Its mission is to empower disadvantaged youth through education, leadership, and advocacy, with a focus on youth empowerment, peace-building, environmental sustainability, and good governance. REYA collaborates with communities, NGOs, entrepreneurs, and governments to improve the lives of underprivileged children.

REYA’s year-end academic quizzing competition and Christmas gift program brought joy and encouragement to 100 students in Monrovia. With a focus on academic performance, students answered questions in Language Arts, Civics, and more, earning Christmas gifts and prizes.
REYA joined over 500 youth in Monrovia to mark Liberia’s 21 years of peace with the Run4Peace event. This powerful gathering highlighted the importance of peace in driving economic growth and national development.

Amelia Teta Seton is a senior biology major at the University of Liberia, passionate about youth empowerment and academic excellence. She plays a pivotal role in REYA’s financial strategies and contributes significantly to the organization’s community impact.
